About Me
Hello there! I am a writer, artist, creator, believer. I am excited to be able to share my art, my thoughts, my writing, my soul with the world. Each item and blog entry is inspired by my journey. As I learn more about the world and myself, I aspire to share these lessons with the world. I hope my words and art reach you and inspire you to get in touch with your creativity and inner world. I would love to hear from you, so feel free to reach out!

My Writing/Art Practice
|
I have always seen myself as an artist and creator. Writing is my greatest passion and has been the source of much of my healing. Through writing, I was able to find my voice and find clarity. Through art, I often find ways to ground my spiritual practice. By creating meditation card decks, jewelry, and other inspirational items, I am able to utilize them as ways to grow and find healing in ways that I was unable to access before. Being a Guide
My Background |
For the past 9 years, I have been supporting students who are seeking a degree in psychology become better writers. I see myself as a coach who is there to help students unlock their creativity through encouragement, tutoring, and overcoming their blocks, doubts, and frustrations that inevitable show up during writing. During this time, I have come to see writing as a way to heal parts of ourselves that linger deep within us. Writing inevitably unlocks the deepest parts of ourselves and speaking to this place allows us to get to know who we truly are deep down, allowing ourselves to forge a deeper relationship with ourselves. I aim to bring this deep understanding to many others, who can benefit from this healing art.
I completed my doctorate in psychology, where I learned a lot about the art of healing. I see therapy as a place of building a bridge between the inner world and the outer, while also making sure that some inner places are strengthened and given proper foundation. While I enjoyed the challenges that came with therapy, I found that my gifts lay in helping people build better internal foundations and the best way for me to do that was through creativity. I found myself drifting to using more creative techniques, including art and writing.
